Coco Gauff advanced to the semifinals of the Adelaide International with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Shelby Rogers on Thursday.
Gauff, 16, dispatched her fellow American for her fifth five consecutive victory in Adelaide since losing to Elina Svitolina of the Ukraine at the Australian Open.
Thursday's victory allowed Gauff to move on to her first WTA 500 semifinal. She will face second-seeded Swiss native Belinda Bencic, who recorded 25 winners to post a 6-2, 6-4 win over Australian qualifier Storm Sanders.
French Open champion Iga Swiatek of Poland advanced to the semifinals after Danielle Collins was forced to pull out with an injury. The 18th-ranked Swiatek was leading 6-2, 3-0 before the American elected to call it a match due to a lower back injury.
Collins had advanced after upsetting World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty in the previous round.
Swiatek advanced to face Switzerland's Jil Teichmann, who saved two match points in the third set before notching a 6-4, 6-7 (8), 7-5 win over Anastasija Sevastova of Latvia. That match took two hours and 57 minutes.
