The Address to expand globally says Emaar
Australian News.Net Friday 20th November, 2009
Leading Dubai property developer Emaar has successfully launched its own 5-star hotel brand.
The Address hotels have now opened in five key locations across Dubai, the latest being a centrepiece hotel in the middle of the Dubai Marina, adjoining the newly opened Dubai Marina Mall.
Now Emaar is turning its sights to the world with locations in Morocco, France and Hungary under consideration. China and the United States are also on the cards.
Emaar says it is also looking at building a hotel in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi.
"Our positioning was always that we would be a global brand, but for us it is very important that when we expand we do so with our brand promise. We want to ensure that if you walk into an Address, whether it might be in Istanbul or Dubai, you will have the same feel, so we are very strict on our brand guidelines now," Marc Dardenne, the CEO of Emaar’s hospitality division said this week.
