DeGeneres, de Rossi 'thrilled' after unforgettable wedding
Australian News.Net Wednesday 20th August, 2008 (ANI)
Melbourne, Aug 20 : Portia de Rossi and her new bride Ellen DeGeneres have said that their intimate wedding was full of love, laughter and a few tears.
The couple exchanged personal wedding vows in front of 20 of their closest family and friends at their 33.5 million Australian dollars Beverly Hills mansion on Aug 17.
de Rossi, 35, said she was moved to tears during the romantic dusk ceremony.
"The love we felt from the people surrounding us and the love we have for each other made this the most beautiful and emotional day. And one that we'll never forget," The Daily Telegraph quoted de Rossi, as saying.
The newlyweds are covergirls on the upcoming edition of US magazine People, which won a bidding war for the exclusive picture rights to the wedding.
They are now on their honeymoon in LA.
DeGeneres, 50, said she was ecstatic about marrying her partner.
"What can I say? I'm the luckiest girl in the world," DeGeneres told the magazine.
"She's officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she'll cook and clean for me," she added.
