Keith Urban 'just can't wait to become a father'
Australian News.Net Sunday 18th May, 2008 (ANI)
Washington, May 18 : Australian country music singer Keith Urban has revealed that he just cannot wait to become a father.
Urban revealed his excitement to a local radio station on May 17 before hitting rehearsals for the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas this weekend.
"I'm very excited about it," People quoted him as telling KCYE in Sin City.
The singer is not very sure about the due date, but he and his wife Nicole Kidman have been able to find out about the baby's gender.
"But I'm not saying," he said.
"I'm glad we found out though, because it brought it home, you know what I'm saying," he added.
With the Country Music Awards taking place Sunday in Vegas and his being nominated for entertainer of the year, Urban headed there along with many of country music's biggest stars, to prepare.
"I'm not worried about anything," Urban said about pre-show jitters.
"I feel so grateful for this year," he added.
