Most expensive T-shirt in Adelaide comes at A$1000
Australian News.Net Sunday 18th May, 2008 (ANI)
Adelaide, May 18 : A Canadian label, Dom Rebel, is offering a T-shirt studded with Swarovski crystals for 1000 Australian dollars - making it the most expensive T-shirt in Adelaide.
The skull print T-shirt is covered in 1080 handset Swarovski crystals and is detailed with specialty paints imported from France.
"We are pretty certain it's going to sell . . . only a couple of people have seen it and say it is awesome and, yes, expensive," Adelaide Now quoted Swarvie Saint owner Frank Sergi, as saying.
"All of the Dom Rebel T-shirts are handmade and hand-drawn. Every T-shirt is considered a piece of art.
"Our males shop just as much as girls and we are becoming more like Melbourne guys.
"We are health conscious, fit and don't mind spending a bit of money for the good brands," he added.
The T-shirt will be unveiled on Monday night at an exclusive VIP showing at Rundle Mall boutique Swarvie Saint.
