Donovan
I met Donovan while he was stationed at Fort Polk back in 1992. Although time and distance were often between us, I always knew that I could never ask for a better friend. Donovan taught me to love life and “to pick and choose the battles that [I} fight." For his friendship and his kind spirit, I will miss him dearly.
To his parents, his sister, and his daughter, I pray God's comfort and blessings on your family. I've never had the priviledge to meet you, but “D" spoke highly of you.

Now we know who is supporting the insurgents...
Report: Hezbollah Training Iraqi Insurgents
November 28, 2006 - Lebanon’s Hezbollah terrorist organization is actively training Shi’ite insurgents to battle American forces in Iraq, charged a senior U.S. intelligence official in remarks published on Monday.
Speaking to The New York Times, the source said that between 1,000 and 2,000 fighters from Iraq’s so-called “Mahdi Army” had received training by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
He said that Hezbollah commanders had also traveled to Iraq to help coordinate training efforts there.
The Mahdi Army reportedly returned the favor during last summer’s Lebanon war, when it sent 300 of its best troops to fight alongside Hezbollah against the Israelis.
The intelligence official cited by the Times said that cooperation between the two insurgent groups is being facilitated by Iran and Syria.
His accusations come at a time when the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush is under increasing pressure to open dialogue with both Iran and Syria on a joint effort to stabilize Iraq.
